About mGanik Care

Klinik MGanik Care is a healthcare clinic focused on providing accessible and personalised medical services to communities in Indonesia. As the clinic grew its patient base, the limitations of paper-based record keeping and manual appointment scheduling became increasingly apparent. Long wait times, missed follow-ups, and difficulty tracking patient histories were affecting both the quality of care and patient satisfaction.

The mGanik Care app was envisioned as a comprehensive solution that would digitise the clinic’s core operations while giving patients a convenient way to engage with their healthcare providers. Rather than building a generic clinic management tool, the brief called for an app tailored to the specific workflows and patient demographics of MGanik Care.

Patient Engagement Features

The app serves two distinct user groups: clinic staff and patients. For staff, the app provides a dashboard for managing daily appointments, viewing patient records, and tracking treatment plans. The interface was designed for speed, recognising that clinic staff often navigate the system while interacting with patients face to face.

For patients, the app offers appointment booking with real-time availability, digital prescription records, and health tips curated by the clinic’s medical team. A notification system keeps patients informed about upcoming appointments and medication reminders. The onboarding flow was kept deliberately simple, requiring only essential information to create an account, with additional profile details collected gradually during subsequent visits.

How Dihardja Software Helps

Dihardja Software took the mGanik Care project from concept to launch over several focused sprints. The engagement started with a discovery phase that included shadowing clinic staff during a typical workday to understand pain points firsthand. This research directly informed the information architecture and interaction design, ensuring the app addressed real operational needs rather than assumed ones.

The UI design follows healthcare best practices with a clean, professional aesthetic that instils confidence. Colour coding helps staff quickly distinguish between appointment types and urgency levels. On the development side, Dihardja Software implemented offline-capable features so the app remains functional even in areas with unreliable internet connectivity, a practical consideration for clinics operating outside major urban centres. Post-launch support included training sessions for clinic staff and iterative improvements based on real usage data collected during the first months of operation.
